The Red Headed Zen

Well, here it goes. Blogging is a strange new concept to me. I figured since I needed a name for my blog, it might as well hold some kind of meaning. Wow, what a difficult choice! I don't want people to think I am too serious. I really should be able to come up with some thing more creative than "My Blog". Man, this is getting too deep already and I haven't even begun. What I really need is some enlightenment. Ah yes, some zen.
That whole concept seems so out of reach. Work, family, and commitments keep me far from it at most times. Being a natural red head, zen is usually not something people consider to be an attribute. Most people expect me to be moody, loud, and fast to anger(there is a descriptive name that comes to mind that rhymes with witch). I would like to think most people do not see me as that. I am quite shy and do my best to be patient at all times. I kinda think I can pull the zen idea off.
Let me give a try. My zen for the day. In my 34 years, I have realized many things. I won't ever be as cute as I used to think I was. Hurdles are something I climb over ever day instead of leaping over them once a week at a track meet. The word "try" means nothing unless you are willing to do so yourself. Every day is a blessing. Live life to the fullest and love yourself.
